A classic massage promotes relaxation , stretches and soothes tight muscles, improves circulation and reduces body tension born from stress. After your classic massage you will generally feel relaxed and through ongoing regularly scheduled massage, your body can be reminded and encouraged to release harmful chronic holding patterns which can provide relief from long-term aches and pains.

DELUXE SPA MASSAGE: For the spa enthusiast, enjoy a one-hour aromatherapy massage with the addition of a deep-heat hand or foot moisturizing treatment. You'll also get to take home a small portion of your aromatherapy blend for your own personal use.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE: A variety of methods are used including deep tissue stripping, cross fiber friction, trigger point release work and range of motion techniques. This therapeutic massage uses deep, focused pressure which helps release chronic muscular tension patterns, promotes recovery of injured or strained muscles, improves range of motion and can be customized to your area(s) of concern.
For the first 24 hours after a deep tissue massage, you may feel a little sore or achy. This is a normal response due to toxins releasing from your soft tissue, it is highly recommended that you drink plenty of water following any massage. After that time, you should feel increased energy, heightened awareness and greater productivity.

LAVA SHELL MASSAGE: Heated sea shells are combined with classic massage techniques to create a warming, therapeutic treatment unlike any other. Loosens your muscles, unwinds deep knots and leaves you utterly relaxed. A wonderful alternative to hot stones.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE: A wonderful way to relax, increase energy and relieve discomfort during pregnancy. Pregnancy massage relieves tension on weight-bearing joints, reduces neck pain, back pain, swelling and stress. Special consideration is given to mom's comfort and her stage of pregnancy. During the massage mom will be supported with pillows and can continue to enjoy a complete massage through her entire pregnancy by switching to a supported side-lying position during the latter stages. Enjoy this special treatment nurturing both mother and child.
Massage is healthful and enjoyable during a normal pregnancy, however, it is requested that you obtain approval from your physician prior to your appointment, as massage is not appropriate for some conditions.

REFLEXOLOGY: A unique method of using the thumb and fingers to stimulate more the 7,200 nerve endings in each foot. An abundance of evidence gathered over centuries suggests that your entire body is reflected in your feet and that these nerve endings correspond to all parts of the body, including organs and glands. Through skillful application of pressure to specific points in the feet, predictable positive changes occur elsewhere in the body.
You need only to remove your shoes and socks and we can address the needs of your entire body. Reflexology promotes the body's ability to adjust and balance during times of stress. Beyond relaxation, reflexology has been shown to improve circulation which boosts the supply of oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and other tissues. For either preventative care or in response to physical or emotional distress, reflexology has been observed to create physical changes that can bring about balance, ease and healing.

CRANIAL SACRAL BALANCING THERAPY: Performed through gentle holds and a very light touch, this treatment aims to restore the normal cranial sacral motion and improve function of the central nervous system by removing restrictions in the body that impede the cranial sacral rhythm and by balancing the fluid and membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord. REIKI / ENERGY BALANCING: A technique for stress reduction and relaxation that allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve health and enhance the quality of life. Reiki is a Japanese system of relaxation and stress reduction that often promotes healing. Reiki is a form of healing that is powerful, yet still very gentle.
Reiki can be used to assist healing of physical illnesses and pains. Just like a massage, it can help with tight muscles or knots, but it can also help with emotional issues by releasing emotional tension and worries. Many people express that they feel heat from the practitioner's hands. Some feel the vibration of the energy and some feel none of these physical experiences, but enjoy a sense of calm afterward.

MIND~BODY~SPIRIT SESSION: An individualized combination of techniques (i.e. massage, cranial-sacral balancing, Reiki or reflexology with coaching or guided imagery elements). After a brief consultation to determine your goals and intentions, we choose which services to incorporate through intuitive collaboration allowing leeway for the session to evolve. Extremely powerful work for the open-minded client seeking transformation, or for the massage client looking to sample the other subtle, yet powerful, wellness tools offered. Either way, a beautiful co-creation of healing between client and practitioner in a supportive environment.

Suzanne delivers this offering within the unfolding of partly structured, mostly Spirit driven elements. Most will include:

AROMATHERAPY ADD-ON: The use of pure essential oils and floral waters distilled from a wide variety of plants has been revered for centuries for its restorative effects on the body, mind and spirit. Combining aromatherapy with massage provides the double effects of therapeutic scent (a refreshing boost to your mood and sense of well-being) along with the relaxing and pain relieving benefits of massage. To suit your own individual preference, you may choose either a single essential oil to be mixed into your massage lotion or experience one of the wonderful complex essential oil blends offered. LAVA SHELL ADD-ON: An all natural, heated treat. Lava shells harness pure energy from the earth and use natural minerals, making them earth-friendly. Two heated sea shells are used to enhance relaxation during your treatment The deep penetrating heat of the shells prepares the body for deeper work, allowing muscle tension to dissolve and fade and promotes the release of toxins with minimal effort. DEEP-HEAT HAND OR FOOT TREATMENT: Experience the bliss of a deep heat treatment on your hands and/or feet. Pairs of mitts and socks are filled with an outer layer of LavaGel mineral technology. When lukewarm tap water is added, they create heat that lasts for up to an hour.
